MDA Programme Awareness Forum

Hosted by the Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA), this forum provides delegates with insights into Singapore's plans to develop the country's Interactive Digital Media (IDM) sector. In July 2006, the government announced the allocation of S$500 million over five years to fund R&D in IDM. Spearheaded by MDA, the IDM R&D Programme provides support for individuals, the education sector, industry players as well as institutes of higher learning. Eight projects under the MDA’s i.JAM (IDM Jump-start and Mentor) initiative will be showcased during the Chill-Out! session at the end of Day 2 of DMfest.

This informal cocktails session marks the official close of DMfest 2008. It gives delegates the opportunity to chill-out after the day's packed conference schedule and to relax in the tranquil environs of Fort Canning Park.
